Headmaster’s Welcome: Returning Families
It has been a real pleasure to be asked to care for this school. Being part of its return to having one of the best reputations of any school in Suffolk is a real privilege. Watching pupils return after a period elsewhere has been particularly lovely. Welcome back to all those families!
During the Summer the work of renovating the school site is in full swing with very significant investment supporting its improvement. Although we are near the beginning of a two year programme in which every corridor, every classroom and every corner of the school will be completely transformed it is already possible to see the future for Benjamin Britten and its families.
It has been lovely to see it work alongside the Hartismere Family of Schools and to watch this partnership with the County’s most successful and outstanding school develop is really exciting.
If you too wish to return to your community school do feel free to contact me at the school for a tour of the school and a conversation about its future.
In response to parental enquiries, of course, uniform is provided to late returners.
A warm welcome to all existing and returning families.
